European Robin
Erithacus rubecula

It is found across Europe, as far east as Western Siberia, and as far south as North Africa. It is sedentary in the west and south of its range, and migratory in the north and east of its range where winters are harsher. Source

Movement and weather
Each season it is first heard regularly where daytime highs are around 20°C (typically 7 to 26°C, from 35 areas). That range is wide, so temperature alone does not explain when it turns up.
Over the weeks it was present in the past year, its centre in Europe ranged from 46°N in November to 56°N in August, about 1,100 km apart.
Arrival dates
The week it was first heard regularly in each region, after at least six weeks away. Dates differ from south to north, so a region has a range.
