Mourning Warbler
Geothlypis philadelphia

The mourning warbler is a small songbird of the New World warbler family. Mourning warblers are neotropical migrants native to eastern and central North America and wintering in Central and South America. They tend to be found in dense second growth forests. They are very similar to the MacGillivray's warbler in appearance, especially in females and immature birds, but their breeding range does not overlap into the west. Source

Movement and weather
Each season it is first heard regularly where daytime highs are around 17°C (typically 11 to 22°C, from 15 areas). That range is wide, so temperature alone does not explain when it turns up.
Arrival dates
The week it was first heard regularly in each region, after at least six weeks away. Dates differ from south to north, so a region has a range.
